AndrĂ© PatrocĂ­nio was chosen, by the Brazilian Confederation of Outdoor and Indoor Hockey (CBHG), as the new member of the technical commission of the Brazil women’s hockey team.
28 years old AndrĂ© Patrocinio, graduated in physical education from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), is currently captain of the Brazilian Men’s Hockey Team, having served in the Rio 2016 Olympics, in the 2015 Panamerican Hockey Cup, the South American Championship. American Hockey Championship 2017, the Hockey Series 2019, among others.
AndrĂ© will be the coach of the national women’s under-18 team and the assistant coach of coach Pablo Lombi, who takes over the women’s team for the Pan Am Challenge.
AndrĂ© Patrocinio’s appointed is part of CBHG’s strategy of investing in the training and qualification of new Brazilian professionals in the sport and of concentrating efforts on the development of women’s, adult and grassroots hockey in the country.
