The restart of the FIH Pro League 2020 saw German player Martin Haner achieve his 250th international cap against world and European champions Belgium.
The 32-year old German Captain who is a orthopaedic surgeon by profession, debuted at the age of just 17, and has been part of the German Team that participated at the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games.
At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he competed for the national team in the men’s tournament, where they won the gold medal and the 2016 Olympics where Germany won bronze.
Martin has been integral in German’s growth in World Hockey. He has shaped up as a very responsible and capable young leader over the past years, guiding young players in the current squad.
