07/23/2021 – Yesterday, Thursday evening, the team responsible for the Hockey Masters teams met for the second time in a digital meeting. Also present were DHB Vice President Dr. Anne Krause and Director of Sports Development Maren Boyé. Under the leadership of the GMH committee spokesman Thomas Pickert, the most important topics and the planning for the coming Masters year were discussed.
In addition to the preparatory measures for the individual age groups with the Masters Indoor World Cup in Virginia Beach and the Masters World Cups in Nottingham, South Africa and Tokyo, several sporting highlights are on the agenda for 2022. The registration deadline for male and female teams to participate in the Indoor World Cup will be in a few days. The German Masters teams will travel to the USA for both men and women.
In addition, the board members of the GMH committee were newly elected in the two-hour digital meeting. Wolfgang Hillmann was elected as the new GMH committee spokesman without dissenting. Vice spokeswoman Pam Hofmann was also unanimously elected. As members of the GMH committee, both will represent the interests of the teams and thus form a communicative bridge to the committee. Manfred Teichelkamp has been re-elected as finance officer on the committee. Volker Hönig and Thomas Pickert are auditors for the GMH committee.
For the upcoming digital WMH General Assembly at the beginning of August, GMH committee spokesman Wolfgang Hillmann has applied to fill one of the advertised board member positions.
With immediate effect, the GMH committee will meet for an annual face-to-face meeting and also hold digital meetings at regular intervals
