Argentina women’s hockey Coach Carlos Retegui has confirmed the list of players who will travel to Lima for the Pan American Games.
The team will be looking to win the Pan American title that has remained in the hands of the United States since the last two editions, although Argentina is still the most successful in history with six gold medals.
It is worth remembering that, both in Pan American Games and in Olympic Games, the number of players is reduced from 18 to 16.
Argentina will join Group A and Uruguay (25th) will be the first rival, in a match scheduled for Monday 29, at 12 noon in our country. On the second date – Wednesday 31 – will be measured against Canada (18th), starting at 6:00 p.m.
On Friday, August 2, on what will be the last date of the first round, the team led by Carlos Retegui will face Cuba (63rd), at 4:00 p.m. Meanwhile, Group B will be composed of Chile, Mexico, Peru and the United States.
