Position: 00002573 – Assistant Coach; Field Hockey
Boston College seeks an Assistant Coach for our Women’s Field Hockey team.
Responsibilities include assisting the Head Coach in the direction, administration, and coaching of the NCAA Division I Women’s Field Hockey Program including, but not limited to, recruiting student-athletes, game strategy, practice strategy, goal keeper and other player development, scheduling, purchasing, travel coordination, fundraising, alumni development, media relations, public relations, and supervision of assistant volunteer coaches and support areas. Must be committed to the academic and athletic development of all student-athletes.
This position is required to perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with all NCAA, ACC, and institutional rules and regulations. Extensive travel, including weekends, throughout the US for all games and national recruiting required.

- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management or closely related field.
- 3 years’ experience coaching field hockey, including: 1 year at a national team or NCAA Division I level; 1 year developing goal keeper skills programs; 1 year recruiting club or high school student athletes; 1 year working with Strength & Conditioning to create Load Monitoring Plans & Analysis; demonstrated knowledge (through training or experience) of Sports Code or similar technical software and Catapult player monitoring equipment.
