Dragflick Newsdesk : Catalonia, has revalidated the title of champions of Spain Autonomic Sub-16, after defeating Euskadi (0-4), in a final held in Benalmádena.

Two goals in just two minutes; one by Diego Escola and another by Albert Serrahima, ultimately the second top scorer in the competition, cemented the subsequent triumph of Oriol Freixa‘s men. Result with which the break was overcome, which would see goals from Alex Duran and Arnau Masclans, who ended up sentencing the game and the title for the Catalans.

The third position has been awarded to Andalusia, which after a spectacular match played against Asturias, which ended with a tie, the shoot outs have defined it on the local side (4-4/5-4). A meeting where the visitors took double advantage. However, Marcus Lake, with two hits, would match him again.

Iván Suárez’s men would once again take control of the scoreboard, but Raúl Narváez, with two hits on the opposing goal, turned the score around. Arey López, with the second and third goals in his private account, would do the same in favor of the Asturians, although a corner penalty materialized by Lake, forced the definitive definition in a fate that ended on the hosts’ side.

INDIVIDUAL PRIZES:

  • BEST PLAYER: Ignacio Pujol (Catalonia)
  • BEST GOALKEEPER: Tomás Arriola (Basque Country)
