Canadian men’s hockey ace goalkeeper David Carter has been nominated for the Goalkeeper of the Year award by the International Hockey Federation (FIH). The 38-year-old David, a veteran of 194 international caps, led the Canadian team to a Tokyo Olympics berth this year, after a tense shootout victory over Ireland. Carter has cemented his place as arguably the greatest goalkeeper. In the last seven shoot-outs, the world class shooter has a record of never losing a single match. Carter will face competition from Tyler Lovell (AUS), Vincent Vanasch (BEL), Quico Cortes (ESP), and Victor Aly (GER) National associations, players, fans and journalists across the world can vote for the award.
