Dragflick Newsdesk : Following their first Europe leg of the FIH Hockey Pro League, USWNT Head Coach Greg Drake and coaching staff have named the 21-athlete traveling roster that will head to Argentina for two matches.

“We’re continuing on our path of providing opportunities for our emerging players,” commented Drake.

“Of our touring group of 21, nine have played less than ten caps and two of these are uncapped.”

“We’re enjoying the challenge of playing the best teams in the world through this [FIH Hockey] Pro League series and are looking to perform well in Argentina.”

There has been several athlete changes to the roster that traveled to Europe. Three players who are currently competing in the FIH Hockey Women’s Junior World Cup in Potchefstroom, South Africa have been added.

Those athletes are Leah Crouse (Virginia Beach, Va.), Charlotte de Vries (Malvern, Pa.) and Hope Rose (Dauphin, Pa.). Erin Matson (Chadds Ford, Pa.) will also travel to Buenos Aires to bring her expertise to the forward line.
