The Youth Panel of the European Hockey Federation are hosting a national Youth Leadership Festival for young leaders in Belgium.
This is an event that will bring together and energise young people who are ambitious for Euro Hockey’s future.
The event will be a 5 day extravaganza organized by the Youth Panel of the European Hockey Federation.
It will be held in Antwerp, Belgium from 13 to 17 August, just before the start of the European Championships, which will take place in Antwerp as well.
For active hockey members between the ages of 16 and 30, who are active in coaching, refereeing, event management, club management and communications.
Highlights of the event
There will be workshops on topics such as coaching, leadership management, business skills, event and performances management.
Kate and Helen Richardson-Walsh, Sofie Gierts, Stephan Hauman, Marcin Grochal and Laurine Delforge, etc.
Everyone involved in this festival will give a 5-minute presentation on their hockey development project. The presenter of the best project will win the title European Youth Hockey Leader 2019.
A jury will choose the finalists who will then present their project to a jury composed of EHF members and presidents from many European countries.
Last year, this prize was awarded to a Belgian with a G-Hockey project in his club.
