Twelve years of drought that come to an end, when the Spanish absolute national team of hockey, secured their silver at the Euro Hockey Championship 2019, after losing to Belgium (5-0), in the final match.
The Red Sticks, in the fifth continental final of its history, play it all against the powerful selection of Belgium, host and one of the great favourites to the title.
The top scorer award in the competition was shared by four players. One of them has been Pau Quemada, who with five goals has come up to pick up a new individual prize for his face-to-door efficiency.
Speaking about his performance, Spanish player Sergi Enrique who completed 305 caps said, he was proud of his teams performance and he was next looking forward to playing at the final qualifier in October.
