On April 26th 2019, some of world’s best hockey players and teams will battle it out at the FIH Hockey Series Finals in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
And while the competition is fierce, players and coaches are requested to take some time out to visit the FIH’s interactive educational anti-doping outreach kiosk at the event.
The kiosk will be set up in an attempt to raise awareness for anti-doping. The initiative is in partnership with Malaysia Hockey Confederation and ADAMAS.
The anti-doping outreach kiosk will be located at two locations on two different dates.
On the 28th of April, the kiosk will be setup at the Palace of Golden Horses Hotel, in Kuala Lumpur and on the 29th of April, the kiosk will be setup between Pitch One and Pitch Two at the Bukit Jalil Hockey Stadium.
FIH’s outreach booth forms a part of a larger international education programme designed for both informing hockey players about their rights and responsibilities, and creating a broader discussion about values, ethics and integrity.
