After the 5: 0 from the day before the team of national coach Markus Weise won on Sunday 5: 3 (2: 1 agg score) against Austria.
The Austrians were able to keep the game open for a long time, especially the strong corner of Michael kept the Austria’s long in the game.
In the final phase, however, the Honomas once again showed their will to win, setting the course for victory.
Speaking about the result, Germany MNT National coach Markus Weise commented;
“Over the entire weekend, we have made that quite convincing. Today I’m not completely satisfied: We did not play smart enough and we would have had to let the ball and opponents run more. I am pleased that we have successfully completed this task. For German hockey it was important to be in the Olympics, we are excited to be a part of it. “
