Kookaburras Captain Eddie Ockenden is keen to have Australia’s name first etched onto the FIH Pro League trophy.

“We probably have a really chance to do well,” told the skipper to a website in an interview.

“I know every time we go out to play for Australia, we go out to win the tournament.

“We want to win every game we play in this pro league.”

The Kookaburras will commence their campaigns on the weekend of February 2-3 in Melbourne, where both teams will face the Netherlands and Belgium.

After facing Netherlands first up and world champions Belgium next, Australia will travel to Hobart to face Pakistan and Germany.

Four teams will contest the finals series to be played in the Netherlands in June.

Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Germany, Great Britain, the Netherlands and New Zealand will contest both competitions.
