In the first match as a visitor for the FIH Pro League, Argentina played out a 1 to 1 draw against New Zealand in regular time and added a point. They also kept the bonus point in shoot out after winning 3 to 1, thanks to Jankunas, Miranda and Jardel.
On Sunday (1.30 am) they will meet again at the Nga Puna Wai Hockey Stadium in Christchurch.
After the four games played at CeNARD at the start of the second edition of the FIH Pro League, claiming three victories (two against the United States and one against the Netherlands) and one defeat (Holland), the Lionesses set off for Oceania to play its first commitments of the event as a visitor.
Thus, in the first of the two matches against New Zealand they claimed two points after equalising 1 to 1 in regular time and keeping the bonus point awarded by the shoot out after having been more effective in the one versus one.
This Sunday, both teams will meet again on a new date of FIH Pro League based in the synthetic Nga Puna Wai Hockey. The games will be live broadcast on ESPN + and ESPN Play.
