The Italy womens hockey team, beat Belarus 4-1 in the cross-over match of the FIH Series Finals in Valencia on Monday.
Italy rode on goals through Oviedo (15 ‘), Cesanelli (39’) and Bianchi (45 ‘) and Pacella (46’). 
 Elena Sazhina (48′) was the lone scorer for Belarus.
Captain of Italy, Chiara Tiddi said the team is much confident than they have ever been.
“When we played in the World Cup we gained the confidence and belief that we can play anyone. I think we learnt then that we need to play every minute of every game and in the crucial game, such as today, we were calm and confident.”
Italy will next play their semi-finals against world no.21 Canada on June 26th 2019.
The “Final” of the Hockey Series Finals, is scheduled to take place on June 27.
