Germany Hockey : First meeting of the Committee for Sport Development and Club Service 2019

Recently, the members of the DHB Committee for Sport Development and Association Service (SUV) met for their first meeting in 2019.

The aim of this meeting was to discuss all current and future topics of the department and to fill them with life.

Christiane Engels-Axer gave an outlook on the two upcoming German-Dutch Friendship tournaments and the 25th anniversary in 2021.

Applications have already been received for the two tournaments in the next and next year.

The representative for school hockey Chris Faust informed about the current status of the revision of the DHB hockey badge for children, for which in cooperation with the German Sport University Cologne a new format is to be developed.

The speaker for Sport Development Sébastien Wörndle gave an insight into the state of planning for the DHB School Hockey Cup, which will take place in the near future.

Fortunately, this year again eight school teams from four national associations are at the start.

Since the beginning of the year, Linda Sandkaulen has moved into the SUV as responsible officer for the area of ​​special hockey.

The special hockey team Germany will participate in the corresponding European Championship in Antwerp in 2019.

To prepare for this great tournament, the players and coaches will meet twice in Cologne.

In addition, the next special hockey “Start-Up” course is planned in the summer to inform all those interested in the subject of special hockey and to provide tips and practical examples.

Maren Boyé, Director Sport Development, introduced a new module of the DHB / acadmie.

The newly designed DHB-HockeyScout training course was first held in May in Goslar.

Further module offers planned for 2020 are “DHB Parent Seminar”, “DHB Mini Hockey”, “Mitmacher Management in Verein / Landesverband”.

The current status and further planning at GMH (German Masters Hockey, the union of all M and W-Masters teams between 35 and 75) was presented by Vice President Sports Development Jan-Hendrik Fischedick.

Last but not least, up-to-date information on the AG member development was given, which has progressed quite a bit with your goal of creating a membership development catalog.

Ulrike Schmidt will now support the SUV as the elected speaker for sports development and extra-sport activities of the department DHB Youth.

The next meeting of the SUV is planned in November 2019 in Cologne.
