Wales Men’s team player Jacob Draper, has been named in the Great Britain senior hockey squad to compete in two test matches against Spain next week.
Since his debut for Wales, Draper has done extremely well to integrate himself in the ever evolving Wales men’s hockey team and now has established himself as the undisputed first choice for Great Britain.
Draper has previously played for Great Britain in the U21 squad.
Known to have great technical abilities, the defender who has 45 caps for Wales, also impressed at the EuroHockey Championships this August in Belgium.
Draper was named “Player of the Tournament” at the EuroHockey Junior Championship III this year.

“I’m unbelievably honoured and proud to have been selected and given the chance to win my first cap. It’s such a long term goal of mine to do such a thing and one which i’m incredibly excited for but also a tad nervous!.” Draper said.
