Australia’s Ambassador to the Netherlands Matthew Neuhaus received a special presentation from Kookaburras coach Colin Batch in Perth on Monday in light of the team’s Champions Trophy.

The Kookaburras won their 15th Champions Trophy earlier this month in the tournament played in the Netherlands, in Breda, triumphing in a shootout against India in the final.

Batch presented Neuhaus with a signed Kookaburras shirt upon his visit to the Perth Hockey Stadium on Monday.

Australia have a rich history of competing against the Netherlands in international hockey, including the Kookaburras four-match Test series against the Dutch in Narrogin and Perth earlier this year.

The Netherlands are ranked number one in the world in women’s hockey ahead of the 2018 World Cup which starts on Saturday in London.
