Japan Men’s Hockey Team has travelled to Chile to play against (World Rank 2) Argentina and (World Rank 3) Chile in a 3 Nations Tournament.

The Tournament kickstarts on the 15th of January and will run till the 20th of January.

The Japanese Squad consist of 17/18 players who played at the Asia Cup 2018.

Goalkeer Suguru Shinmoto who last played at the 2017 Asia Cup will be joined by young goalkeeper Yusuke Takano, a Member of the 2018 Asia Cup squad.

Japanese ’s defence features Manabu Yamashita, Takahiro Zendana, Masaki Ohashi, Shota Yamada, along with two young guns, both 19 years of age – Yoshitaka Kirishita and Riku Tamura.

The midfield will see Genki Mitsutani, Seren Tanaka, Masahiro Ochiai, Kaito Tanaka along with Kazuki Yoneda.

Japans’s attack will see Kenta Tanaka, Kenji Kitazato,Kazuma Murata,Yuki Wakuri, and Koji Yamasaki in the forward-line.
