Najib, Muhammad Najmi Farizal Jazlan, made the decision to leave the state hockey camp for personal reasons but now he has been reassured to return to team and wants to take advantage of the opportunity.
The 23-year-old defender was on the list of 28 names called for the national training camp under the guidance of head coach Roelant Oltmans from March 10 to 16 in Kuantan, Pahang.
According to Muhammad Najmi, he will adapt to the tactical game used by Oltmans in his quest for a place in the national squad.
“I am grateful that my service is still needed by the national squad, in the meantime will give the best for the team throughout the training sessions and tournaments.
“Honestly, I’m really longing to get back to playing with other teammates and knowingly needs to be quick to improve fitness. My main target now is to be elected in the national squad and will follow everything level by stage, “said Muhammad Najmi.
Last time Muhammad Najmi made his debut with the country’s squad during a series of friendly matches in Argentina last May.
