After the end of TNB Malaysia Hockey League 2019 on March 2, 28 players have been called up by National Coach Roelant Oltmans to join the national training camp.
Through the list of Hockey Confederation Malaysia (MHC) today, four young players will join the training camp in Kuantan, Pahang from 10 to 16 March 2019.
Mohammad Akhimullah Anuar Esook, Muhammad Arif Syafie Ishak, Muhammad Noor Firdaus Rosdi and Muhammad Azrai Aizad Abu Kamal were called to a special training camp held in preparation for the Malaysian Tigers to the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup in Ipoh on March 23 and 30 and the FIH Final Series 2019 Men at Kuala Lumpur from 26 April to 4 May 2019.
Seen through the list of players called, Muhammad Najmi Farizal Jazlan will be back together with a national training where this training is also a platform to form the best understanding among existing players and new faces that have attracted national operator Roelant Oltmans.
In preparation for the target set by MHC is to step into the final of the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup 2019.
The week-long training camp will also feature world-renowned penalty corner Taeke Taekema from the Netherlands who will lower his knowledge to help sharpen the shot the penalty corner of the country in order to finish right in front of goal can be done.
Additionally, goalkeeper Martin Drijver will also assist in preparing the national goalkeepers and after the motivational training camp is over, the national squad will travel to Ipoh Perak on March 18 for the first international championship of the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup 2019.
