The Hockey Confederation of Malaysia (MHC) would like to inform that after having to undergo a long quarantine period in Donghae, Korea, and not allowed to play in the 2021 Asian Champions Trophy (Women) Championship, the National Women’s Special Project Squad returned to Malaysia today, 13 December 2021 (Monday).
However two players who were recently confirmed Covid-19 Positive when the smear test was done, still have to undergo a quarantine process which will end soon.
Head Coach, Mohd Nasihin Nubli Ibrahim and Team Manager, Siti Noor Amarina Ruhani will continue to be in Donghae, Korea and return with the two players in a few days to ensure the welfare and safety of the players are taken care of.
The National Women’s Special Project Squad left for Malaysia at 10.30 this morning (Korean time) and is expected to arrive at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Sepang (KLIA) at 7.40 tonight. They will also undergo a mandatory quarantine process set by the Malaysian Government upon safe arrival.
