TNB Malaysia Hockey League, Premier League rivals 2019 will open their official debut today with a match to win the Sumbangsih Cup to find Terengganu Hockey Club (THT) and Kuala Lumpur University (UniKL) at Batu Buruk Hockey Stadium, Kuala Terengganu.
Being in the game is itselfan advantage and I. Vikneswaran wants the advantage to be best used by his players by giving the best performances and resistance despite the fact that their opponents have been strengthened by national key players and well-known import players.
“UniKL has great players and we are aware of the strengths they have and they also have the best goalkeeper David John Harte.
“However, the THT has its own plans to deal with them and I believe in the ability of my players to deliver the best rivals.
“Being in the home is indeed a great advantage for THT and it is added with the support provided by local supporters, I hope it will be able to boost the player’s spirit to focus fully on the game as well as delivering excellent game patterns,” explained Vikneswaran.
In addition to the Sumbangsih Trophy between THT and UniKL, two more matches will take place tomorrow
TNB will meet UITM at 6.00 pm and Maybank will face 8.00pm Nurinsafi / Kedah Hockey and both matches will take place at the National Hockey Stadium Bukit Jalil, Padang 1.
