Dragflick Newsdesk : Zbigniew Łój, former Polish representative, Olympian, Honored Master of Sports, passed away. He was 77 years old.
Łój, who played as a goalkeeper, was associated with HKS Siemianowiczanka throughout his career – from 1959 to 1974. In 1970, he won the Polish vice-championship with his club.
In the same year, he performed at the European Championships in Brussels, and two years later at the Olympic Games in Munich. Together with the “eagle on the breast” he played 16 games. In 1972 he was awarded the honorary title of “Meritorious Master of Sports“.
