The Mexico Hockey Federation has announced the Mexican side that will take part in the the much-awaited FIH Men’s Series Finals Bhubaneswar Odisha 2019 scheduled to begin on 6 June 2019 at the iconic Kalinga Hockey Stadium.

34 year old Roberto Garcia will captain the team for Mexico. Roberto debuted in 2014, and since then made 132 appearances for Mexico. He has also made two Panam appearances.

Mexico are coming to the tournament after finishing 2nd in the Hockey Series Open 2018 in Salamanca.

Most players were also a part of the 48th edition of the California Cup which concluded last week.

The event will see Mexico grouped in Pool B alongside, Japan, USA and South Africa, while in host India, Russia, Poland and Uzbekistan are grouped in Pool A.

Jorge Estrada, Oscar Lopez and Juan Sosa will make their debut appearance when Mexico begin their campaign on 7 June 2019 against Japan.
