The Polish Hockey Federation has announced the Polish side that will take part in the the much-awaited FIH Men’s Series Finals Bhubaneswar Odisha 2019 scheduled to begin on 6 June 2019 at the iconic Kalinga Hockey Stadium.
Poland qualified for the FIH Hockey Series Finals after claiming the title victory at the FIH Hockey Series Open in Gniezno.
Poland are World Ranked 21 in Outdoor Hockey while in the Indoor Hockey they are World Ranked 5.
Most of the players in the team last appeared at the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup 2019 Tournament in Ipoh, Malaysia.
28 year old Paweł Bratkowski will captain the team for Poland. Pawel made his debut appearance in 2011 and since then has appeared 115 times for Poland.
The event will see the Polish team grouped in Pool A alongside, host India, Russia and Uzbekistan, while Japan, Mexico, USA and South Africa are grouped in Pool B.
Poland will begin their campaign on 6 June 2019 against Uzbekistan.
